Ju-yeon shares the story of her bracelet and the wish debt she owes Sae-yan. On their way to the village, they encounter a dead animal, and Gun gets out to bury it.
Shin returns and picks up Sae-yan, who insists she doesn't need Ju-yeon's help. Shin, intrigued by Sae-yan's search for the mysterious man, reveals his connection to the village. Sae-yan claims the man is her first love.
Gun, noticing Ju-yeon's low spirits, asks about her day. Ju-yeon reveals that her father was an emotional psychiatrist who dedicated his life to his patients. Tragically, a delusional patient killed him, leading Ju-yeon to vow not to get too close to any patient.
