As Walt and Jesse prepared to leave the desert, Tuco stopped them and shot his own man right in front of them—both Walt and Jesse were filled with fear.
Marie kept calling Skyler, hoping she’d forgive her, but Skyler had no intention of doing so. Hank went to Walt’s house to talk to Skyler about the matter and told her that Marie was now receiving treatment.
Walt couldn’t sleep all night, worried that Tuco would track him down to his home. Skyler was deeply concerned when she realized Walt hadn’t been by her side the entire night.
Walt accused Jesse of telling Tuco his address, but Jesse denied it. Walt and Jesse discussed how to deal with Tuco: Jesse wanted to shoot him, but Walt decided to poison him instead.
Walt bought the ingredients to make ricin, planning to find a way to poison Tuco with it, while Jesse was in charge of arranging the time and place for the next meeting with Tuco.
Walt learned from Hank that Tuco had killed another one of his men. Fearing for his family’s safety, Walt rushed home immediately. When he arrived, he got no answer and thought something terrible had happened—it turned out to be a false alarm.
Skyler wanted to talk to Walt, but he was busy hiding money and a gun in the basement of their house.
Hank was investigating the murder scene and identified the killer.
Skyler was on the verge of a breakdown and demanded that Walt talk to her. Walt was about to confess to Skyler when he suddenly received a call from Jesse and hung up on her.
Jesse drove up to his house. Tuco was hiding in the car and threatened Walt to get in.
Jesse drove off, taking Tuco and Walt with him.
