A Mind Under Siege
This episode throws our heroes, Clark, Lois, Jimmy, and Kara, into a desperate fight against the cunning villain Brainiac. On the physical plane, Kara valiantly battles Brainiac, but is ultimately overpowered. Jimmy tries to intervene with Kryptonite, hoping to weaken Brainiac. Unfortunately, the radiation harms both Clark and Kara trapped within the Black Mercy. Brainiac, as a digital consciousness, is unharmed and simply transfers his mind to another body. Leaving Lois and Jimmy adrift in space, Brainiac departs with his newfound Kryptonian host - a dark, twisted version of Superman.
