"Squid Game Episode 6: Defensive Tug-of-War & Squid Game Finale Setup"

The smell of blood from the marble game had not yet dissipated when the lights in the dormitory came on. The men in red pushed in an iron cage containing more than a dozen wooden knives. The voice of the big boss came from the loudspeaker: "The sixth game is defensive tug-of-war. Two people in a group. The attacking side needs to break through the defending side's line of defense, and the one who touches the opponent's bottom line wins."

As soon as Gi-hun stood up, Sang-woo grabbed him: "Let's be a group." Deok-su kicked the person beside him away and nodded at Kang Sae-byeok: "Guard the pass with me, or I'll kill you right now." Kang Sae-byeok ignored him, pulled over the lame man in the corner and said: "I choose him."

The young policeman, mixed among the men in red, looked at the battle table on the wall — Gi-hun and Sang-woo were assigned to the attacking side, and Deok-su was on the defending side. While no one was paying attention, he stuffed a note saying "There is a mechanism in the defending rope" into the ventilation vent. Just as he bumped into the square-masked man staring at the monitor, he quickly lowered his head.

The game venue was a narrow alley, with hemp ropes pulled on both sides as the defense line. As soon as the whistle blew, Deok-su led the defending side to cling tightly to the hemp rope. Gi-hun, on the attacking side, was dragged to stagger forward. Sang-woo suddenly shouted: "Pull the left side! The rope is loose!" Gi-hun exerted his strength, and sure enough, a gap was torn open. Just as the two were about to rush over, Deok-su suddenly pulled out a wooden knife and slashed at Gi-hun's wrist.

Kang Sae-byeok and the lame man were defending at another position. She let the man hold the rope and went around to the side by herself. As soon as the two strong men on the attacking side rushed over, they were tripped by her, and the wooden knife was placed on their necks. "Admit defeat," Kang Sae-byeok's eyes turned cold, and the other party quickly nodded.

The young policeman found in the control room that the end of the defending rope was connected to an electric shock device. He was about to cut off the line when the square-masked man pinned his hand: "Mind your own business. That's how your brother died." The young policeman clenched his fist, and his nails dug into his palm.

Gi-hun and Sang-woo finally broke through the defense line, but Sang-woo deliberately slowed down half a step, letting Gi-hun touch the bottom line first. "You won," Sang-woo smiled, but there was no warmth in his eyes. Deok-su was swearing nearby, but was pointed at by the man in red with a gun and shut his mouth.

Back in the dormitory, Kang Sae-byeok found that the lame man hadn't come back. Han Mi-nyeo leaned over and said: "He was dragged to the toilet by Deok-su. I heard the sound of gunfire." Gi-hun touched his wounded wrist, and Sang-woo handed him a cloth strip: "Tomorrow's game, you have to be tougher."

Late at night, the young policeman pried open the VIP's safe, which contained a video tape. In the played image, his brother, wearing a square mask, was reporting to the big boss: "Among the remaining people, Sang-woo is the most like the one you are looking for." The young policeman suddenly heard footsteps and quickly hid the video tape in the sole of his shoe.

As dawn was approaching, a nursery rhyme sounded from the loudspeaker. Everyone was driven to the square, where a huge squid pattern was drawn on the ground. The big boss stood on the stage: "The last game is the squid game. The one who survives to the end takes 45.6 billion won." Gi-hun looked at the pattern, suddenly remembering that he had played this game with his brother when he was a child, and his eyes became hot.
