Min-ju asks his staff to ensure she stays away, but the two women just laugh, noticing that their usually reserved boss is acting differently around Yong-ju.
The next day, Yong-ju and A-reum run into each other at the village head's shop. A-reum suggests Yong-ju give up on Min-ju, calling him stubborn and indifferent. Yong-ju, however, declares that she'll go to any lengths to succeed, impressing A-reum with her determination. To win over the village head, Yong-ju agrees to help out at his shop. But when she tries to approach Min-ju, the head stops her, reminding her of Min-ju's ban.
Undeterred, Yong-ju wins the head over again by gifting him presents. When Min-ju hears of her persistence, he trusts that his two female staff will prevent her from getting through.
