In the sixth episode of the intriguing series "Chicken Nugget," the narrative takes a dramatic turn as Tae-man, once a figure of menace, emerges as a pivotal character with a profound transformation. Armed with Seon-man's gun, he embarks on a religious monologue, asserting that his encounter with a divine entity has led him to a new path. This unexpected development leaves Seon-man and Baek-joong bewildered, causing them to lower their guard, as they realize their previous suspicions were misplaced.

Tae-man's revelation about his journey is the crux of this episode. After suggesting the creation of a machine detector, he recounts Dr. Yoo's disappearance and his subsequent quest to locate the abandoned machine. His determination leads him to a junkyard, where he recovers the device and relocates it to an abandoned farmhouse. However, the machine's malfunction prompts Tae-man to rebuild the detector from scratch, a task that consumes two years of his life. It is this very detector that eventually guides him to Nobleman's Chicken Nuggets, where he inadvertently overhears Seon-man and Baek-joong discussing Min-ah's transformation into a nugget, a plot point reminiscent of the pajeon restaurant owner from episode 2.
Dr. Yoo's perspective adds another layer to the story. Once on the brink of retirement and overwhelmed by hopelessness, Dr. Yoo discovers the machine in a junkyard, reigniting his passion for research. Following the departure of many team members, he constructs the machine detector at Tae-man's suggestion. The signals lead him to Nobleman's Pizza, where he uncovers a second machine with the uncanny ability to transform humans into objects or animals. In a bold move, Dr. Yoo tests the machine himself, choosing to become a caterpillar, thus beginning his metamorphosis.
The episode then shifts to Baekjung Chicken Nugget, where the team's behavior takes a bizarre turn. They start by consuming chicken nuggets intended for customers and then progress to eating raw chicken, leading them to ponder their very existence. A flashback reveals the group of four renting the restaurant despite competition from a nearby chicken nugget establishment. Their success eventually surpasses Nobleman's Chicken Nugget, prompting complaints from its owner.
The now-deceased owner seems to recognize the machine framed on the wall of Baekjung Chicken Nugget. An employee explains that placing a chicken into the machine results in a delicious nugget, a claim the owner dismisses before leaving.
Dr. Yoo's narrative concludes with his transformation into a caterpillar and the machine's relocation to Nobleman's Chicken Nugget. The owner of Nobleman's Pizza, who also owns Nobleman's Chicken Nugget after his pizza business fails, is shrouded in mystery regarding his acquisition of the machine. Dr. Yoo lives as a caterpillar on the second floor of the establishment with the owner. Chaos ensues when the owner, in a fit of madness, places a chicken into the machine, resulting in a zombie bird—a creature the chicken had seen on television—that attacks him. The owner then takes the machine to Seon-man's company for inspection, deciding to bring the bird as well to avoid being deemed insane.
The episode concludes with the owner returning to retrieve the bird, and we are left with a cliffhanger as two employees from Baekjung Chicken Nugget are seen in a car on the same night, their intentions unknown. This episode of "Chicken Nugget" is a masterclass in suspense and narrative complexity, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as the characters' fates continue to intertwine with the mysterious machines at the heart of the series.
