She pleads with Hippocampus to spare the creature's life, until they find themselves cornered and in dire need of each other's skills to survive. This partnership between science and nature culminates in a daring escape, forging a bond between the two.
Meanwhile, Deliria, the goddess mother, grapples with her own relationship with Stupendous, her daughter. Stupendous, seeking to step out of her mother's shadow, embarks on a secret side quest, a decision that does not sit well with Deliria. In an attempt to mend their relationship, Deliria agrees to accompany her daughter, donning the persona of Susan, a simpleton.
However, Susan's humble and endearing nature wins over the hearts of the others, much to Stupendous' dismay. This twist leads to a series of events that result in the accidental release of a Titan, Laepetus, who wreaks havoc and threatens Deliria's life.
