Arisu Ryohei was grieving over having killed the demon, but Usagi Yuzuya comforted him by saying, "If you weren't willing to do it, you could have chosen to die instead." After saying this, she left. At the same time, Kūya Shuntarō found a marked note on the demon's corpse.

Oori's visa was about to expire. Staring into the mirror, she recalled her past and swore to survive no matter what. Arisu and Karube returned to Chota and Oori, telling them about the walkie-talkie and planning to set out for the Beach together the next day. Oori informed Arisu and Karube that her and Chota's visas would expire that very day. Karube confidently assured them that by participating in and winning another game that night, they could increase their visa days. He then rushed to a bar to retrieve a ring he had left there. When he found the ring, memories of his time working at the bar flooded back.

That night, Arisu and the other three arrived at the game venue. At the entrance, a table was laid out with various weapons, tools, and goggles. Karube selected a machete for emergencies. After putting on the goggles, the four prepared to participate in the game. This game was called "Tag," rated Seven of Hearts in difficulty. The rules were simple: one player was the "wolf," and the other three were "sheep." Anyone found by the wolf would become the next wolf. The key was to hide well and avoid being caught. The win condition: only the wolf at the end of the game would survive. The time limit was 15 minutes—after that, all remaining sheep would die.

The game began. Chota was the first wolf. After making eye contact with Arisu, the wolf role quickly transferred to Arisu. Arisu then glanced at Karube, who became the wolf. It turned out that a simple glance was enough to pass on the role. Oori grew anxious, noting that the game was flawed—it meant only the wolf could survive. Karube looked at Oori, turning her into the wolf. Panicked, Oori immediately ran away. Suddenly, Karube realized the true nature of the game: it wasn’t the sheep who needed to hide, but the wolf. He grabbed the machete and chased after Oori. Soon, he caught up with her, and they struggled. The machete fell to the ground. Karube forced Oori to make eye contact with him, turning himself back into the wolf.

Just then, Arisu arrived. Karube glanced at him, transferring the wolf role to Arisu. Arisu immediately ran off, vowing to solve the dilemma alone. Oori and Karube gave chase, but Chota stepped out to stop Oori from pursuing Arisu. Meanwhile, Karube, weakened from his earlier injuries, collapsed to the ground. His ring fell out, and as he looked at it, memories of his time at the bar and his days with Chota resurfaced. Arisu, hiding alone, also reminisced about the past and his life with Karube and Chota. He wanted either Karube or Chota to survive, even if it meant sacrificing himself. He rushed back to find them, but Karube and Chota had hidden themselves to ensure Arisu’s survival.
With only seconds left, Arisu found Karube—but ultimately, Karube died before his eyes. Chota and Oori also perished. Witnessing this, Arisu broke down, weeping and screaming in agony...
