After Hunter C-20 is captured by the female Loki, the variant continuously brainwashes her with magic, creating the illusion that the two are close friends. Under persistent mental manipulation, Hunter C-20 eventually reveals information about the Time-Keepers.
The Sacred Timeline comes under attack by the female Loki. Seizing the opportunity while TVA agents are busy managing the timeline chaos, she uses a time portal to infiltrate TVA headquarters. However, when she attempts to attack the Minute Men, she discovers her magic is ineffective within the TVA. Loki follows closely behind, also arriving at the TVA headquarters, where he retrieves his weapons. He seeks out the female Loki, proposing an alliance to find the Time-Keepers together. Just then, Judge Ravonna Renslayer appears, forcing Loki and the female Loki to escape through a time portal.
Loki and the female Loki travel through the portal to Lamentis-1 in the year 2077, a large mining satellite on the edge of the Kree Empire in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The satellite is on a collision course with its planet. The female Loki attempts to use the time controller to escape but finds it out of power. Loki seizes the opportunity to take the device. Suddenly, a meteor shower rains down from the sky, forcing Loki and the female Loki to urgently find a way to recharge the time controller. They take shelter in a refuge, where the female Loki tries to use her enchantment magic on Loki but fails. Loki reminds her that he cannot be enchanted by her.
They then proceed to a nearby village, where the female Loki introduces herself as Sylvie and reveals they have only 12 hours left to escape the doomed moon. Loki and Sylvie encounter a villager waiting for death, who mistakes them for demons. From the villager, they learn that everyone has fled to the Ark, a spacecraft designed to evacuate people from the moon. To recharge the time controller, Loki and Sylvie must board the Ark. They disguise themselves as guards and successfully board the train heading to the Ark.
On the train, Loki and Sylvie engage in a conversation. Sylvie knows she was adopted but has no memory of her mother. Loki, raised by Frigga, was unaware of his true origins. Sylvie mentions she has a lover and they maintain a long-distance relationship. When Sylvie asks Loki if he prefers princesses or princes, he admits he likes both. After drinking too much, Loki interacts with the passengers and even sings an Asgardian song for Sylvie. Their behavior draws the attention of the train guards, who ask to check their tickets. A conflict ensues, and Loki is thrown off the train, forcing Sylvie to jump off with him.
During the fight, the time controller is damaged, angering Sylvie. She reveals the truth: the Ark will be destroyed in the collision. Loki suggests hijacking the Ark earlier to escape, and Sylvie agrees. On their way, Sylvie explains the mechanics of her enchantment ability. She also reveals that, through enchanting Hunter C-20, she discovered that everyone working at the TVA is actually a time variant.
As the planet and its moon draw closer to collision, Loki and Sylvie rush to the Ark, engaging in a fight with the guards. However, they ultimately fail to board the spacecraft and watch helplessly as meteors destroy the Ark.
