Lori, who had long been dead, appeared on the grass outside the prison. Rick spotted her standing there through his binoculars—stunned by her sudden "resurrection," he rushed to the grass to find her. Standing not far away, Michonne watched as Rick left the prison in a hurry, confusion spreading across her face. She stared intently as Rick unlocked and walked through one iron gate after another to exit the prison. Under Michonne’s gaze, Rick crossed the gates and reached the small bridge outside the prison.

Lori stood on the bridge, dressed in a white dress like an otherworldly figure. Rick stood on the bridge, staring at her without blinking. Lori looked back at him, her face expressionless. As Rick kept his eyes fixed on her in silence, he gradually realized he was having a hallucination.

The Governor planned to attack the prison where Rick’s group lived, but Andrea fiercely opposed his plan. The Governor went to a house to find Milton—who was utterly loyal to him—and told Milton to keep a close eye on Andrea’s movements.

Glenn, Hershel, and others were planning to defend the prison. The Governor had a large and powerful group, making him extremely hard to deal with. Hershel warned Glenn not to confront the Governor head-on. However, Glenn was still bitter about Maggie being violated by the Governor. He and Maggie hadn’t had a proper talk in days, so Glenn took the initiative to ask Maggie about the details of what the Governor had done to her. Maggie explained that the Governor had only groped her, not raped her. After hearing her account of the assault, Glenn finally let go of his lingering resentment.

Daryl and Merle were walking through the woods when they heard shouts coming from outside. Rushing over, they saw a bridge teeming with walkers attacking several survivors. Daryl and Merle left the woods, went to the bridge, and killed all the walkers. Merle wanted to rob the survivors of their supplies, but Daryl—honorable by nature—stopped him from doing so. The brothers returned to the woods and got into a fight; Merle knocked Daryl to the ground. When Daryl got back up, he made up his mind to return to the prison and rejoin Rick.

The Governor led several of his men to the outside of the prison to launch a surprise attack on Rick. Hearing the gunfire, Rick dropped to the ground immediately. The Governor grabbed a rifle and fired wildly at the prison, while Rick lay prone, afraid to move an inch. Inside the prison, Carol also threw herself to the ground to avoid the flying bullets.

A car crashed through the prison’s iron fence and came to a stop. Dozens of walkers poured out of the vehicle. The Governor stood in the grass outside the prison, a triumphant smile on his face as he watched the walkers march into the prison.
