Wanda watched in disbelief as her hand rapidly aged, and in the next moment, she was struck down by Agnes. Determined to drain all of Wanda's power, Agnes conjured a fake Vision. Fortunately, the real Vision arrived just in time to save Wanda. A fierce battle broke out between Wanda and Agnes. Monica tried to intervene and stop Wanda, but she was trapped in a sealed room by Wanda's brother.
Agent Jimmy Woo went to S.W.O.R.D. alone in an attempt to buy some time, but Director Hayward saw through his plan and had him locked up. However, Jimmy had come prepared—he quickly freed himself from the handcuffs and called his friend, Cliff. Meanwhile, back in Westview, Wanda was still searching for Agnes. Agnes, immensely powerful, seemed to be toying with her. Despite having no formal training, Wanda possessed extraordinary magical abilities, which greatly intrigued and envious Agnes.
To make Wanda understand the extent of her own powers, Agnes severed the mental connection between Wanda and the residents of Westview. Freed from Wanda's influence, the townspeople gathered around, expressing exhaustion and fear. They pleaded with Wanda to release them. Overwhelmed with guilt and on the verge of a breakdown, Wanda nearly lost control and almost harmed them, but she managed to restrain herself in time.
Unwilling to harm the residents or yield to Agnes's demand to destroy the world, Wanda opened the barrier surrounding Westview to let the people leave. Seizing the opportunity, Director Hayward and his S.W.O.R.D. team rushed into the town. However, Wanda realized that her sons and Vision were intrinsically tied to the existence of Westview—if the barrier remained open, they would cease to exist. Unable to bear losing them, Wanda quickly closed the barrier again.
The family of four was reunited, but Agnes took advantage of the moment to steal another portion of Wanda's power. Before they could react, S.W.O.R.D. forces surrounded them, and Agnes watched closely from nearby, waiting for her chance. The white Vision created by S.W.O.R.D. had one mission: to eliminate the original Vision. But Vision convinced him that he wasn’t the real Vision—only a creation of the Hex. The white Vision hesitated, confused by this revelation.
With no time to spare, Wanda had to focus on stopping Agnes. She tasked her sons with holding off S.W.O.R.D. while she flew up to confront Agnes. Meanwhile, Vision helped the white Vision regain his memories. After remembering his past, the white Vision realized that he, too, was Vision, and he turned away from his mission.
Wanda teleported behind Agnes and infiltrated her mind, but Agnes reversed the trap, imprisoning Wanda within her own consciousness. Eager to claim all of Wanda's power, Agnes taunted and provoked her. She fearlessly absorbed every one of Wanda's attacks, causing Wanda to age rapidly before her eyes. Agnes laughed triumphantly.
As Wanda hung weakly in the air, seemingly drained of all magic, Agnes prepared to deliver the final blow. But suddenly, Agnes found herself unable to use magic, and her hands began to wither. At the same time, Wanda rejuvenated before her eyes. Agnes stared in shock.
During Agnes's deliberate humiliation, Wanda had learned a crucial piece of knowledge: in a confined space, only the witch who cast the original spell can wield magic. During their earlier confrontation, Wanda had secretly recast the spell over the Hex. Now, Agnes was powerless and at her mercy.
With Agnes defeated, Wabsorbed all her magic and fully embraced her identity as the Scarlet Witch. Now in full control of her powers, Wanda punished Agnes by trapping her forever within the Hex. Knowing what she had to do, Wanda made the painful decision to say goodbye to Vision. She brought her husband and children home one last time as the Hex began to fade. After a heartfelt farewell, Wanda found herself standing alone on an empty foundation.
Returning to the real world, Wanda met with Monica. Though the people of Westview might resent her, Wanda knew she couldn’t fully explain her actions. After bidding Monica farewell, she fully assumed her role as the Scarlet Witch and left Westview before the authorities arrived. Director Hayward was arrested for abusing his power, and Monica was summoned by an old friend of her mother's—ending with a meaningful smile.
