Murder Drones - S01E03 - The Promening

Meanwhile, Uzi, still grappling with the guilt of driving N away, discovers the missing posters of the murdered prom candidates. As she returns to her room, she encounters her father, Khan, who has removed her notes and placed them in a room filled with her late wife's belongings. To add to her troubles, Khan invites Lizzy, Uzi's classmate and bully, and Doll to help her prepare for the prom.

At the Murder Drones' base, V manipulates N into retrieving fancy clothing, intending to use it to infiltrate the bunker during the prom and slaughter everyone inside. N, however, refuses, fearing Uzi's lingering fear of him and unwilling to satisfy V's bloodlust. Sensing that V is hiding something about their past, N presses her for answers, only to be decapitated for his persistence. Despite the gruesome encounter, N recovers and dons the suit he found, determined to confront V.

Uzi, Lizzy, and Doll arrive at Doll's house, where Uzi is forced into the bathroom to change. As she prepares, she hears a disturbing dripping sound from the bathtub. Upon inspection, Uzi discovers the tub filled with human blood and shattered mirrors. Doll enters the bathroom to find Uzi has escaped through an air vent.

Leaving Outpost 3, Uzi encounters N and reconciles with him. At the prom, Lizzy takes the stage to announce the prom queen. To everyone's shock, V, who has been made prom queen due to the disappearance of all other candidates, takes the stage to give a speech.

N and Uzi arrive to disrupt the prom, but Doll uses her Absolute Solver to immobilize V. Approaching V, Doll forces her to relive the memory of killing Doll's parents. N stops Doll from killing V, and Uzi attempts to convince Doll to work together and uncover the humans' true intentions. Doll, however, rejects Uzi's offer and incapacitates both N and V.

A fierce battle ensues between Doll and Uzi, with Doll surprised to find that her Absolute Solver does not work on Uzi. N and V manage to repair themselves and join the fight. Together, they are able to overpower Doll, but before Uzi can interrogate her, V shoots Doll in the back of the head. Frustrated by V's actions, Uzi notices a key on Doll's bracelet.

The trio enters Doll's house, where they discover the horrifying truth: Doll has been feeding on other Drones and has preserved the corpses of her parents. As they investigate, Doll suddenly appears and fires the dislodged bullet at them. Uzi's Absolute Solver power manifests, stopping the bullet mid-air. Witnessing this, Doll apologizes to Uzi for suffering the same fate as her and vows to help Uzi find what she is looking for. Before Uzi can ask for more information, Doll teleports away.

Outside the bunker, Tessa, the girl from N's dream who now works for JCJenson, arrives in a ship. Accompanied by a reconstructed J, Tessa informs her partner that they have maintenance work to do, hinting at their sinister intentions for the Worker Drones.
