Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock/Venom, and he is joined by a new cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Naomi Scott, Alessandro Nivola, Flemming Toro, and Christian Serratos. Here is everything we know about Venom: The Last Dance so far:
Plot
The plot of Venom: The Last Dance is still under wraps, but the film is expected to pick up where Venom: Let There Be Carnage left off. In that film, Eddie Brock and Venom were finally living in harmony, but their peaceful existence was shattered by the arrival of Cletus Kasady/Carnage. After a brutal battle, Venom and Carnage were both seemingly destroyed. However, a mid-credits scene revealed that Kasady is still alive, and he is now in a maximum security prison.
It is likely that Venom: The Last Dance will see Venom and Eddie Brock facing off against a new threat, possibly one that is connected to Kasady. The film could also explore the relationship between Eddie and Venom in more depth, as they continue to learn to co-exist.
Cast
Tom Hardy is the only cast member who has been officially confirmed for Venom: The Last Dance, but he is expected to be joined by most of the cast from Venom: Let There Be Carnage, including Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, and Agyness Deyn.
The new cast members for the film include Woody Harrelson, Naomi Scott, Alessandro Nivola, Flemming Toro, and Christian Serratos. Harrelson is rumored to be playing Cletus Kasady/Carnage, who is teased in the mid-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Scott is reportedly playing Anne Weying, who is Eddie Brock's ex-wife in the comics. Nivola is said to be playing a villain named Shriek, while Toro is playing a character named Agent Jameson. Serratos is playing Eddie and Anne's daughter, Maxine.
