Back to 15 Season 2, Episode 2: A New Reality and a Familiar Mission

Episode 2 of Back to 15: Season 2 delves deeper into the consequences of Anita and Joel's time travel. The episode begins with Anita grappling with the drastic changes in her life and the lives of those around her. Henrique has found success as a rock band member, Camilla has abandoned her writing aspirations, and Anita's sister, Luiza, is about to get married in South America. Unable to reconcile with these unexpected developments, Anita runs away and encounters Joel in a minivan.

Realizing their interconnectedness, Anita and Joel acknowledge that their time travels are intertwined. They're unsure whether they'll always return to the same point in time or if they'll experience simultaneous jumps. Despite the uncertainty, one thing is clear: they need to return to the past and rectify the timeline around the time of the Festival of Culture.

Their first priority is to bring Luiza back to Imperatriz. Armed with Luiza's work address and boxes of snacks from her aunt's house, Anita and Joel embark on their mission. At the mall, they find Luiza, who is reluctant to return. Luiza argues that the city offers opportunities and experiences that a small town cannot provide. She insists on showing Anita and Joel why she's so hesitant to go back.

Luiza comes clean with Fabricio, her boyfriend, admitting that she needs change and that he's not the reason for her departure. She encourages him to embrace change and not be afraid. Anita understands Luiza's reluctance but suggests that she could return for a visit. Luiza acknowledges that city life isn't always perfect and that living with her aunt has its challenges. However, she also admits to missing the people of Imperatriz.

Joel and Anita are relieved that they've convinced Luiza to return and share a celebratory kiss. The episode concludes with a sense of hope as Anita and Joel begin to unravel the complexities of their time travel and work towards restoring the timeline.
