S1.E1 ∙ God U.

Eight years ago, Mary Moreau first manifested her blood-based powers during her first menstrual period, accidentally killing her parents in the process and straining her relationship with her sister, Annabeth. Now, Mary has been accepted into Godolkin University, an institution that educates future superheroes. On her first day, she meets her roommate Emma Meyer and becomes acquainted with upperclassmen Andre Anderson, Luke Riordan, Jordan Li, and Kate Dunlap. At a party, Andre accidentally injures a woman with his magnetic manipulation, and Mary saves her from bleeding to death. Despite Mary's sudden popularity on social media, Professor Richard Brinkhoff expels her to protect the reputation of the upperclassmen. Later, she returns to Brink's office to confront him, only to find that he has been killed by Luke. In his attempt to kill Mary, Luke goes on a rampage but is stopped by Jordan and Andre. As he calms down, Luke whispers something to Andre before using his fire powers to commit suicide.
