Sucre was released from solitary confinement, reuniting the escape team. Michael informed them that Dr. Sara's office was the crucial exit point and they must obtain the key. Meanwhile, John Abruzzi returned to Fox River, seemingly recovered and portraying himself as a reformed man. He assured Michael he would still provide the plane for the escape.
Bellick persuaded Warden Pope to conceal Lincoln's disappearance from higher authorities and initiated his own search. The unconscious Lincoln was hidden by the mysterious man in a scrapyard for wrecked cars.
In the infirmary, Michael unexpectedly kissed Sara, but when confronted by her questions, he couldn't bring himself to steal the key. Upon waking, Lincoln recognized the man as his father.
