At night, Lalo climbed out of a manhole, took a shower, and climbed back in to observe everything outside from within.

Goodman drove to a supermarket parking lot and found the fake judge who had helped with the photos earlier. He asked him to take additional photos, promising extra money. If the fake judge got fired, Goodman also offered to sue his boss on his behalf. Persuaded, the fake judge left with him. Goodman then went to find the photographer, offering a high price to reshoot as well. Meanwhile, Kim directed the filming on-site.

After the shoot, Kim and Goodman anxiously waited for the photos to be developed—and fortunately, they were completed. Goodman grabbed the photos and rushed to the roadside. A man drove by just in time, and Goodman threw the prepared photos into the car. Soon, these photos were delivered to Howard by a private detective.

Howard’s mediation meeting was about to start. He showed particular concern for Irene, the elderly representative, and even pushed her into the conference room in a wheelchair. When the mediator appeared, Howard was shocked—it was the same man in the photos from the private detective. Others also participated in the meeting via phone call without being present. Seeing the mediator repeatedly emphasizing concessions, Howard became more convinced that the mediator had been secretly bribed. He confronted the mediator during the meeting, arguing that the mediation had exceeded controllable limits and suspecting the mediator had been paid $20,000 by Goodman.

On the other side, Goodman and Kim listened in on the meeting online intently. Howard thought he had conclusive evidence and asked someone to bring the photos, admitting he had been following Goodman. But to his surprise, the photos brought over were not the ones he had received that morning. At this point, others noticed Howard’s pupils dilating and suspected he was having eye problems. This annoyed Cliff, and the meeting ended on a sour note—some even expressed disappointment with the law firm.

Cliff went to see Howard angrily. Howard’s eyes had returned to normal by then, and he insisted someone was framing him—specifically Goodman. Cliff reprimanded Howard harshly, accusing him of acting recklessly and never considering his clients’ interests.

Hiding in the sewer, Lalo recorded a video of himself, aiming the camera at the area he was monitoring. He claimed there was a hidden drug manufacturing site there. Lalo called his uncle, who was on an oxygen tube and could only communicate with a bell. Lalo told his uncle he planned to take action that night. His uncle rang the bell frantically in opposition, but Lalo hung up anyway. Lalo spotted a familiar figure walking out of the secret base—it was Mike.

Gustavo was accepting a reporter’s interview after donating funds to a youth training institution when Mike arrived. He played a recording of Lalo’s call to his uncle. Mike suggested packing up everything immediately and dispatching all personnel to Gustavo’s residence to wait for Lalo and arrest him in one fell swoop.

Late at night, Howard went to see Kim and Goodman. He knew the couple was behind everything and was desperate to find out their motives—whether it was just to bring him down. Howard complained, feeling that many things in his life had been ruined by this "perfect couple," but he vowed to spend his entire life exposing the truth. In Howard’s eyes, the couple acted not just for money, but more out of antisocial behavior.

At that moment, Lalo appeared in the room. Terrified, Kim urged Howard to leave immediately. Confused, Howard asked who Lalo was. Lalo pulled out a pistol and attached a silencer. Realizing the danger, Howard tried to flee, but Lalo shot him dead on the spot.

Afterward, Lalo said he had a few questions for Kim and Goodman.
