Walter returned the car under Skyler’s order, but he was furious. He drove the car to a parking lot and set it on fire. He went to Saul to clean up the mess, complaining to Saul that his life was soon to end but he had no way to kill Gus. Saul mentioned that Jesse had met with Gus before. Walter found Jesse and tried to persuade him to kill Gus, and Jesse agreed to find an opportunity to do it.

Mike and Jesse went to the negotiation site between Gus and the Mexicans. Jesse was about to poison Gus when Mike stopped him. The Mexican cartel only sent one man to negotiate, which made Gus feel disrespected. During the negotiation, the Mexican side asked Gus to hand over the drug formula, but Gus refused.

The negotiation ended on a sour note, and Mike thought he should teach Jesse how to shoot. Jesse went to a church to attend a drug rehabilitation meeting. He mentioned that he had been under great pressure recently and said he had killed a dog, which made the people at the church very angry. Jesse then said he had initially attended the church’s rehabilitation meetings only to sell drugs to the attendees.

When Jesse returned to the lab, Walter asked if he had seen Gus. Jesse said he hadn’t had a chance to act recently. Hank returned to the DEA, and his colleagues were all very happy to see him. Hank told his colleagues about the drug-related evidence he had found, strongly suspecting that Gus was the mastermind behind the drug trade and Gale’s boss. His colleagues thought Hank’s reasoning was too far-fetched, and at that moment, he took out evidence showing that Gus’s fingerprints had been found at Gale’s house.
