Walt gave Jesse his share of the profits, but Jesse was furious about the deal Walt had made with Tuco. He thought it was impossible to cook that much meth in such a short time.

Walt, Jesse, and Tuco met again. Walt claimed they were having technical issues and asked for an extension. Tuco flew into a rage, but Walt used this to demand more money.

Jesse believed Walt was taking on an impossible task. Walt handed Jesse a list of chemicals, including one that would boost production.

At Skyler’s baby shower, Marie gave her a priceless piece of jewelry. That night, Walt persuaded Skyler that he’d be staying in the desert over the weekend—actually, it was to cook meth with Jesse.

At Jesse’s house, he found most of the chemicals on the list except one. Jesse suggested hiring someone to find it, but it would be expensive. Walt insisted on getting it himself. The two snuck into a chemical company’s warehouse at night and stole what they needed.

They returned to Jesse’s house to continue cooking meth.

When Skyler tried to return the gift Marie had given her, she discovered Marie had stolen it from the store.

Walt came home, and Skyler told him about Marie stealing the jewelry. Walt said that sometimes people do crazy things for their family.

Walt and Jesse delivered the newly cooked meth to Tuco. Tuco was extremely satisfied with the purity and agreed to pay. Walt then left.
