Walter sent Jesse to a spa resort, but Jesse remained listless. When Walter returned home, he was furious to find a film crew there for the interview.

Grief-stricken over Jane’s death, Jane’s father made a mistake while directing airplane traffic, causing two planes to collide mid-air. Meanwhile, Walter sat angrily by his backyard pool drinking, when a sudden loud crash echoed—debris from the planes fell into the pool.
