  Walter and Skyler went for a hospital checkup. Walter vomited in the bathroom, and after the CT scan, he found that his condition was getting worse.

  Skyler tried to get Walter to stop worrying about the test results, but Walter planned to visit his mother. Skyler was deeply hurt by Walter’s negative attitude.

  Walter met with Saul to talk about money laundering and planned to cook more meth that weekend. He called Jesse to arrange a meeting to cook together.

  Walter lied about going to visit his mother, and Skyler dropped him off at the airport. Walter pretended to enter the terminal, and Jesse immediately picked him up to head to the desert. Over the weekend, Walter and Jesse cooked a total of 40 pounds of meth. Just as they were about to head back to rest, Jesse forgot to pull out the RV key, leaving the battery dead—Walter felt helpless and angry at Jesse’s carelessness.

  Walter and Jesse tried to generate electricity in the desert, but an explosion occurred. Jesse used up all the water to put out the fire. He called his friends for help, but got no response.

  Jesse and Walter attempted to generate electricity again, but failed. Just as they were about to give up, Walter started coughing up blood. Jesse was terrified when he saw this and encouraged Walter not to give up so easily. When Walter was ready to abandon hope, he realized he could use his chemical knowledge to build a new battery.

  Walter and Jesse successfully generated electricity and returned from the desert. Jesse dropped Walter off at the airport.

  Walter, Skyler, and the whole family waited for the test results at the hospital. The doctor announced that Walter’s treatment had worked, and everyone was overjoyed. Walter mentioned his recent hemoptysis, and the doctor said further examinations were needed.
