Hank told Walter to drive and retrieve the tracker, and Walter had no choice but to comply. When Hank got home, he found that Gus lived a rigid two-point life—only between work and home—and felt extremely disappointed. Skyler called Walter, mentioning that she planned to buy a car for their son. She also noted that the car wash business had been doing extremely well and would recoup its investment soon, suggesting that Walter could quit as soon as possible.

Hank called Walter, having discovered Gus’s chicken farm, and hoped Walter would drive him there. Walter declined on the excuse of feeling unwell, suggesting they go another day. He then called Mike, informing him that Hank had set his sights on the chicken farm and urging him to deal with it promptly.

Ted showed up at the car wash to find Skyler. He mentioned that he had recently come under the IRS’s scrutiny and asked if Skyler could help him. Meanwhile, Mike and Jesse were cleaning up all the drugs in the chicken farm. Jesse asked Mike if Hank had angered Gus. A sniper from the Mexican cartel was about to attack Jesse, but Mike acted just in time, pulling him out of harm’s way. At that moment, Gus appeared and said he was willing to hand over the drug formula.

Walter was disposing of a body in the lab when Jesse thanked Mike for saving his life. Skyler helped Ted resolve his legal troubles, but he still owed over 700,000 in taxes.

Jesse went to Gus’s house for dinner. As he hesitated whether to poison Gus, Gus proposed transferring him to Mexico to cook meth. To save Walter’s life, Jesse rejected the plan of cooking alone. Walter retrieved the tracker he had installed on Jesse’s car and found out that Jesse had been to Gus’s house but failed to make a move—he was furious.
Jesse called Walter, hoping they could talk. He told Walter about his conversation with Gus, and Walter was enraged by Jesse’s inaction. The two argued and came to blows.
