Gilberg-led Cali Group has long held the top position in the industry. It provides shelter for other drug cartels through its network of connections, reaping most of the profits. This model has been flawless for a long time, but during the amnesty negotiations, Gilberg did not anticipate that others had long been eyeing the top spot—such as the North Valley Drug Cartel.

The North Valley Group's provocation aroused great dissatisfaction from the Cali Group. Barcha led his men to North Valley's church and publicly shouted at Evio. However, the North Valley Group refused to back down, as they controlled the largest port.

Miguel and Barcha discussed with Zipi that they must recapture the port at all costs and take complete revenge on North Valley. Jorge found Fieston and Chris, questioning why they hadn't arrested Miguel despite knowing his whereabouts. Fieston told him that such an operation required approval. The three discussed plans to arrest Miguel, and Jorge agreed to help them enter the building.

Panna went to see Defense Minister Fernando but did not disclose any operational details. Fernando agreed to their request and provided them with General Serrano. General Serrano had strong beliefs and principles; despite surviving multiple assassination attempts, he never compromised with drug traffickers.

Panna told General Serrano everything about the operation without reservation, and the two conducted detailed discussions and research on the plan. Serrano pointed out that the problem was that the raid needed to be reported to the Cali government for approval, which would alert Miguel.

Panna persuaded General Serrano not to participate in the operation, fearing that a failure would endanger his reputation. After thinking it over, Serrano agreed. When Jorge returned home, he found his wife packing luggage, planning to take the children to her father's house—but she was unwilling to leave their hometown with the kids.

That night, Jorge went to Miguel's residence as agreed. Miguel praised him highly and insisted he stay for dinner. Miguel asked him to monitor Gilberg's phone calls, which took Jorge by surprise. Taking advantage of Miguel and chef Fedo's inattention, Jorge quietly turned off the walkie-talkie. When the security personnel outside noticed the police storming the building, the walkie-talkie remained completely silent.

Miguel and the chef soon heard the sound of Panna's plane and hastily asked Jorge what was happening. Jorge told Miguel to find a way to escape and stayed behind with Fedo to face the DEA.

Panna had the local prosecutor fill out the search warrant on the spot and led his men to take control of the situation. The police conducted a blanket search of the house but found nothing. Panna suspected that Miguel had altered the floor structure, so he ran downstairs to measure the dimensions of the adjacent residence. Meanwhile, the DEA discovered something unusual in the bathroom, and Panna immediately decided to break down the entire wall. Miguel was indeed hiding inside—listening to the drill piercing the wall, watching it spin in front of him, and even getting his arm scratched, he had to endure in silence without making a sound.

News of Miguel's danger reached David. Enraged, David led his men to find Cali's Attorney General and demanded he rescue his father. Just as the DEA was about to smash the entire wall, the Attorney General arrived in time to stop them. He confiscated their passports and threatened to file a complaint against them. Panna had no choice but to call off the operation, allowing Miguel to narrowly escape.
The manhunt for Miguel attracted media attention. Upon learning of it, Gilberg called Miguel, urging him to accept the new agreement with the government and avoid further conflicts with the DEA. But Miguel refused to listen at all. Jorge panicked when he heard that Fieston and Chris were being recalled to Bogotá—he had been counting on them to send his wife and children to the United States. Discovering that someone was monitoring his home, Jorge had to assemble his gun.
