Cristina was taken by members of the Cali Cartel to a remote mountain forest and handed over to other guards. Miguel was furious at having narrowly escaped capture, convinced that someone on the inside had leaked the information. Everyone suspected Enrique strongly because he was supposed to be keeping watch outside.

Jorge drove to his mother-in-law's house, feeling a temporary sense of relief as he saw his wife and daughter were safe. David called, demanding that he bring Enrique to them, saying Miguel wanted to talk to him. Jorge was shocked, and David added that Miguel wanted to see him too.

Frustrated by the failure of the raid, Fernando accused the DEA, ordering them to hand over all information—including details about the informant—to the Special Prosecutor and announcing he would no longer participate in future operations. Pena had no choice but to show Fernando the seized ledgers, explaining that there were two people who could decrypt them: the Cali Cartel's accountant Palomari and the arrested Yolando. Only through joint cooperation could they uncover the Cali Cartel's drug trafficking network.Fernando was forced to agree to continue participating in subsequent operations with the DEA. Pena tracked down Bernie from the Medellín Cartel, who told him that Cristina had been kidnapped to a remote mountain forest. Bernie offered to help Pena rescue Cristina on the condition that Pena provide him with protection.

Fieston and Chris were extremely worried about Jorge. Jorge found Enrique, told him about David's suspicion, and took him to a safe house to hide. He promised to resolve the matter for Enrique and instructed him not to leave the room under any circumstances.

Jorge went to Miguel to defend Enrique, but David shifted the suspicion to Jorge himself. Jorge suggested that the DEA might have used new wireless surveillance equipment to intercept their calls. Although Miguel agreed with Jorge's reasoning, he remained convinced that someone had betrayed him.

Gilberto called Miguel, continuing to persuade him to accept negotiations, but this time Miguel directly refuted him. Helpless, Gilberto had to summon Nicolás to participate in handling Yolando's case.
Jorge and David went to Enrique's house but found no trace of him. David told Jorge to go to Black Bull Forest to find Navigante. After leaving, Jorge noticed he was being followed, and through a bug, he heard David say he was going to kill his wife—leaving Jorge horrified. In Black Bull Forest, Jorge picked up Navigante, and the two went to look for Palomari together, but found no sign of him. Navigante insisted that Jorge must find Palomari, as Miguel considered it a top priority, and Jorge agreed.

Jorge received a call saying Enrique had been found, and his heart skipped a beat. After a moment of thought, he deleted the messages on his pager. When Jorge saw Enrique again, he was on the verge of death after being tortured by David. Under David's threats, Enrique confessed that Jorge had been colluding with the DEA. To save himself, Jorge claimed Enrique was framing him, but neither David nor Miguel was willing to believe him.

At that moment, Enrique's pager was discovered. Jorge seized the opportunity to argue that Enrique was the mole, and the pager was their communication device used to track their movements. Upon hearing this, Miguel and David immediately smothered Enrique to death.

Led by Bernie, Pena successfully rescued Cristina with the help of the Castaño family's armed forces. However, Cristina was ungrateful, clearly stating that Yolando would not cooperate with them just because Pena had rescued her. Meanwhile, Yolando had already been killed in prison by a hitman hired by Nicolás. Fearing that David would harm his wife and daughter, Jorge called Fieston again, requesting to cooperate once more. He would provide Miguel's address, but the DEA had to guarantee Miguel's arrest.
