Andrea and her younger sister Amy sat on a wooden boat fishing, while Dale stood on a high spot in the camp, holding a pair of binoculars to survey the surrounding area.

Merle’s fate remained unknown, leaving only a severed hand behind. Daryl raised his crossbow and aimed it at T-Dog—T-Dog had accidentally lost the key to the handcuffs during their retreat not long ago, and it was precisely because there was no key that Merle had been trapped on the rooftop and couldn’t escape with the others.

T-Dog’s life hung in the balance when Rick drew his pistol and pointed it at Daryl. Persuaded by Rick, Daryl finally lowered his crossbow. With his older brother Merle’s fate unconfirmed, Daryl picked up the severed hand Merle had left behind, wrapped it in a piece of cloth, and kept it as a memento.

In the chaotic post-apocalyptic world, people were gripped by fear and distrust. Dale noticed Jim acting strangely—he was digging pits outside the camp. Shane took some companions to go outside the camp and talk to Jim, but Jim was so frantic with digging that he ignored Shane’s orders. Shane had no choice but to step forward and subdue Jim, then tied him to a tree.

Glenn was captured by a group of gang members. Rick, Daryl, and T-Dog went into the gang’s territory; T-Dog hid on a high vantage point, tasked with taking out the gang leader. However, the gang leader turned out to be a kind-hearted man who had already taken in many elderly people.

Rick followed the gang leader into a building and witnessed the elderly living healthily there. A sense of respect welled up in his heart, and he resolved the conflict with the gang leader, turning enemies into friends. It turned out the gang leader was originally a security guard. After the walker apocalypse broke out, he and a group of like-minded people set up a temporary shelter to take in numerous homeless elderly.

Rick and his group left the temporary shelter and prepared to drive back to the camp, only to be shocked to find their car had been driven away. Someone guessed that Merle was the one who had taken it—Merle had always been on bad terms with the other team members, and not long before, he had been trapped on the rooftop because T-Dog lost the handcuff key. Merle had every reason to take revenge on T-Dog and the others.

As night fell, the people in the camp sat around the campfire chatting. Dale, who was quite talkative, rambled on about various things. Meanwhile, Ed, who was lying in his tent, was attacked by a walker. The walker caught him off guard, pounced on him, and bit him fiercely. Other members of the camp were also attacked by walkers swarming in from all directions. In the blink of an eye, screams echoed one after another over the camp. Just then, Rick and his small team returned to the camp and fought hard to kill the walkers.

Eventually, all the walkers were eliminated, but the camp suffered heavy losses. Andrea’s younger sister Amy was among those killed by walkers during the chaos.
