Skyler feels a twinge of disappointment upon learning that Walter has actually agreed to the divorce. Walter promises to cover all expenses for their two children from now on, while he moves out and finds an apartment of his own.
Gus teaches employees to use equipment at his fried chicken restaurant when Tuco’s two cousins show up. Jesse shows the drugs he made to his friends and urges them to try samples. Impressed by Jesse’s product, the three decide to deal drugs together.
Jesse is put under surveillance by Hank, who hopes to track down the RV through him. After making his breakfast and heading to work, Walter finds another person in the lab—his new assistant, Gale.
Walter drives his son to work, and the boy is confused about his parents’ divorce. Tuco’s cousins refuse to leave Gus’s restaurant, so Gus arranges to settle everything with them at sunset.
Gale holds a master’s degree in organic chemistry, and Walter greatly admires his skills. Their collaboration in the lab goes smoothly, and the two bond over their shared expertise, chatting amicably as they work.
Hank continues staking out Jesse from his car when Marie calls, suggesting he get information about Jesse through Walter. Hank calls Walter, who panics at the thought of Hank finding the old RV and immediately resolves to dispose of it.
Walter calls Saul to inform him that Hank is tracking the RV. He then meets Badger’s cousin and demands that he get rid of the RV right away, with Badger also present.
Walter hurries to find someone to destroy the RV, and Badger immediately calls Jesse to alert him. Jesse leaves his house at once, with Hank following closely behind. Walter is furious when he realizes Jesse has led Hank to the RV’s location. Just as Hank is about to search the RV, Walter calls Saul for help. Saul has someone pretend to be from the hospital and call Hank, informing him that Marie has been in a car accident. Hank rushes to the hospital only to discover he’s been tricked.
The RV is destroyed, and Gus meets with Tuco’s cousins. He tells them it wasn’t Walter who killed Tuco—it was Hank.
