Enraged by the unprovoked assault, Jesse insists on pressing charges against Hank to the end. Walter tries to persuade him to let Hank off, but Jesse is determined to get revenge on Walter.
To keep Jesse quiet, Walter decides to bring him into his lab. He calls Gus, complaining about the mistakes Gale made earlier in the lab, and uses this as an excuse to replace Gale.

Hank is in the parking lot preparing to go home when he suddenly receives a call from a stranger warning him that someone is out to kill him. Immediately after, Tuco’s cousins appear, and a fierce gunfight breaks out between them and Hank. Hank is seriously injured, while one of Tuco’s cousins is killed and the other wounded.
