Wanda and Vision welcomed twin boys in the town of Westview, but the babies were extremely fussy and refused to sleep no matter how they were soothed. Just as the couple was at their wits' end, their neighbor Agnes showed up. Vision hurriedly shifted back to his human form. Agnes had come to help with the children, but Vision's awkward remarks left her flustered—so much so that she strangely suggested Wanda "rewind." Confused, Vision didn't understand, while Wanda nervously changed the subject and asked Agnes to hold one of the babies.
Agnes behaved oddly—in truth, she knew nothing about childcare and was only there because Wanda had unconsciously summoned help. Just as Vision grew suspicious, the babies suddenly stopped crying, and the couple was shocked to find that the infants had rapidly grown older.
Meanwhile, outside Westview, Monica underwent a series of examinations. Lewis brought her a change of clothes, but the medical staff were puzzled by her test results. Monica, however, refused further testing.
The intelligence Monica brought back was crucial. The S.W.O.R.D. director
had investigated Wanda's past actions and labeled her a terrorist who had harmed
civilians. Monica disagreed, pointing out that although Wanda had expelled her
from Westview, she had also protected her—otherwise, Monica wouldn't have
returned unharmed. However, nine days earlier, Wanda had broken into a
S.W.O.R.D. facility, violently stolen Vision's body, and likely resurrected
him—an act that violated regulations.
With no further arguments, Monica could only watch as the director ordered Wanda's arrest.
Back in Westview, Wanda's twins were secretly playing with water. She discovered they were giving a stray puppy a bath. The children begged to keep the dog, and surprisingly, Agnes arrived carrying a doghouse. Wanda used her magic openly in front of her, which confused Vision. They had always hidden their abilities—why was Wanda being so careless? Sensing his doubt, Wanda quickly distracted him with the children, who suddenly aged to ten years old in front of Agnes.
Determined to re-enter Westview, Monica remembered Lewis's warning about potential memory loss. Still, she remained resolved. Noticing the distinct colored drone that had previously entered the anomaly, she came up with an idea. In the lab, she confirmed her theory: clothing that had passed through the barrier was indestructible. Perhaps they could send unchanged objects into Westview to resist Wanda's reality-warping.
In Westview, Vision was at work when suddenly all his colleagues received a message and recited the same words in unison. Although everyone laughed it off as a joke, Vision sensed something wrong. He used his abilities to briefly shock a coworker's mind, causing the man to snap out of the trance and desperately beg Vision to make "her" stop controlling him. Horrified, Vision reversed the effect and numbly returned to his desk.
At home, Wanda was playing with the boys when they realized it was Saturday—their father shouldn’t be at work. As Wanda struggled to explain, an unauthorized object breached the town. Wanda refused to communicate. To her anger, the director had armed the drone with weapons. Furious, she walked to the boundary, dragging the drone behind her. Monica tried to reason with her, but Wanda only wanted to live peacefully with her family. Without another word, she returned inside and strengthened the barrier.
That day, the twins' puppy died. The children begged their mother to bring it back to life, panicking Wanda. That night, Vision confronted her about her secrets, and they argued intensely. Wanda felt helpless—she only wanted this life, but outsiders kept interfering. As they argued, the doorbell rang. Vision's distrust wounded her deeply. When she opened the door, she was stunned to see her twin brother—even resetting the reality couldn’t change who stood at the doorstep.
